Week 7: Closing Week(s)

We're in the home stretch of the 2012 Jerseys for St. Jude auctions. This "week" will continue until all remaining jerseys are sold. We have several great jerseys on EBay. The Kellogg's Fishing Team, and individual jerseys from Kellogg's anglers Lefebre, Fukae, and Bohannan are among the offerings. Week 5: Velvick, Combs, Lindner, Samson

This week, Jerseys for St. Jude is featuring several angling notables: Byron Velvick (B.A.S.S. winner, U.S.Open Champ, host of City Limits Fishing); Keith Combs (2011 Toyota Texas Bass Champion, Elite Series Angler); Al Lindner (In-Fisherman founder); and Bruce "Doc" Samson (RCL Walleye Champion). As with all jerseys, 100% of winning bid is donated directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Week 4: Western Week presented by BassTackleDepot.com

For decades, the west coast has served as the birthplace for numerous bass fishing techniques. This week, we offer jerseys from the best anglers of the west! Western legends Mike Folkestad, Gary Dobyns and Mike Long join current bass fishing standouts Brent Ehrler, Luke Clausen and Richard Dobyns in supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through this effort. G2 Gemini has also donated two $150 gift certificates towards the effort - one to be auctioned on EBay this week and the second to be given away during the prize drawing. Western Week runs from Sunday, March 4 through March 11.

Week 1: Jerseys for St. Jude

Thanks for visiting the Jerseys for St. Jude blog! Over the next few weeks, we will be auctioning several jerseys on Ebay. We will group the jerseys together in weeks: Classic Week, FLW Week, and Western Week presented by BassTackleDepot. Additional weeks will be announced beyond those already identified, too.

Jerseys for St. Jude 2012

We are proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Jerseys for St. Jude fundraising effort to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will begin in about one month from now! Be sure to check back to this blog for more

Our goal for this year is to raise over $10,000 for St. Judes! Last year, the effort raised over $8,400, so we hope to build upon the momentum created last year and make this year even better!

Jerseys for St. Jude highlights for 2012:

• More angler jerseys donations. We've already received a great amount of support from B.A.S.S., FLW and PAA pros already in the form of jersey donations. Several of the most successful and notable anglers on tour have already donated jerseys.
• Prize packages. The prize drawing last year was very popular among fishermen and others looking to support St. Jude. We're hoping to announce the prize drawing packages in the near future.

Lefebre Hoodie Silent Auction - Relisting!

For those of you in the "Lefebre Army" that missed out on bidding on FLW Pro Dave Lefebre's autographed 2010 Chevy hoodie two weeks ago, we have some good news! We are relisting it in another silent auction. Please note that this auction WILL NOT be run through EBay. If interested in bidding, the following are some simple auction instructions:

• Interested bidders should submit their bid via email to: jerseysforstjude@hotmail.com from now until Sunday, April 24 at 8:00PM EST. Simply state your name and your bid amount. Your bid will not be announced at any point during the auction.
• After submitting a bid, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that the email will not state whether you are the current high bid or not, so please bid the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the hoodie. The highest submitted bid at the conclusion of the auction will be awarded Dave's autographed hoodie and trading card.
• Payment for Dave's hoodie will be made through the St. Jude donation website link that will be provided to the winning bidder at the conclusion of the auction.
• Lastly, remember 100% of your bid will be donated to benefit a very worthy cause - St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!

Finally, a heart-felt thanks to Dave, his fans, and everyone else that has supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through past auctions!
